Serpentine Pavillion

Nearest Tubes: Lancaster Gate, Marble Arch, Knightsbridge, South Kensington

This year celebrates the 15th annual architectural commission of the Serpentine Pavilion in Hyde Park. Each year, the world-renowned event introduces a temporary building to Kensington Gardens, designed by an international architect. The 2015 pavilion, which is the first to be designed by a Spanish practice, is the work of duo Selgas Cano. The pair have created a multi-coloured maze out of plastic fabric strips and translucent sheeting. The structure is particularly impressive at night, when internal lighting creates a striking display. Entry to the pavilion is free and a café is situated inside for visitors to enjoy.

Monmouth Dean are proud to be the letting agents for the fifth floor of 17 Old Park Lane in Mayfair, just next to Hyde Park. We are really enjoying visiting this prestigious area and look forward to visiting both the Serpentine Gallery and the famous Pavilion.
